Country music is constantly evolving, and we’ve seen a number of fresh new artists start to gain traction in 2024. These five up and coming country musicians could very well make it big soon. And even if they don’t, the music they’ve produced thus far is worthy of any country fan’s go-to playlist.

1. Dillon Carmichael
This Kentucky native released his critically acclaimed debut album Hell On An Angel in 2018. Since then, his deep voice and excellent songwriting have gained him quite a bit of attention. When it comes to up and coming country musicians, Dillon Carmichael has already left his mark. He’s performed with the likes of Dwight Yoakam and Trace Adkins already. As of 2024, he has over 13 million streams. We’ll likely be seeing a lot more of him in mainstream country soon.
2. Jason Benoit
Jason Benoit is a Canadian musician from an extremely tiny town of 200 people in Newfoundland. He may not be from down south, but he definitely knows a thing or two about good ol’ small-town country stylings. He has already been nominated for a Canadian Country Music Association award with a number of certified gold hits. If you want to get into Canadian country music, this is the artist to listen to.
3. Rett Madison
If you’re looking for something a little different in country music right now, Rett Madison might be the singer to look out for. She describes herself as a “queer, Appalachian diva” who puts a glam twist on traditional country music. A lot of new artists are coming out in the alternative country genre nowadays. And so far, Madison is one of the most underrated.
4. Autumn Brooke
Autumn Brooke has been making music for a little while, and she’s gained more of a social media following day by day. The Tennessee singer debuted in the country genre with “Hate This Town” and “Hey Cowboy”. She’s a talented young artist who understands the art of country narratives and storytelling, and we can’t wait to see what she does next.
5. Jake Bush
Jake Bush is quite a talented country musician. It’s rare to find a young artist who can pen traditional country music as authentically as Bush has with songs like “Cowgirl” and “Tractor Town”. His melodies are top-notch, and those previously mentioned singles have already charted pretty well. We wouldn’t be surprised if he delivered a major hit this year.
