Zach Bryan became a household name thanks to country music. However, by all accounts, the “Pink Skies” singer intends to leave Nashville in the rearview for 2025. In November 2024, Bryan announced plans to quit touring and move to Paris in pursuit of a masters degree. Recently, he appeared to announce a forthcoming feature film with the help of one Hollywood A-Lister.

Is Zach Bryan Making a Movie?
Zach Bryan has been known to tease upcoming projects by posting voice memos to social media. However, the latest such post contains a voice that does not belong to the country star, but is unrecognizable all the same.
“This is not a film about a band,” drawls the familiar Texas twang of actor Matthew McConaughey. “This is a film about a boy from Oklahoma, a boy who joined the Navy with a love of writing. That writing connected with people — a lot of people.
“This film is about a group of best friends taking a two-week motorcycle ride across America while recording one final major label album.
“Oh, and the title of the film, you ask? ‘Motorbreath.’”
The film—which seemingly documents Bryan’s quest to record his final album for Warner Records—shares its title with a still-unreleased song that the Grammy winner teased back in November. The post supplied no further details about the project, such as a release date. But that didn’t stop excitement from spreading among his fanbase like wildfire.

“Gonna be the greatest piece of artwork of our generation,” one Instagram user gushed.

McConaughey (or a highly accurate AI rendering) is a sensible choice to launch Bryan’s next project, as the Magic Mike star previously appeared in his “Nine Ball” video.
What Else Does Bryan Have Planned for 2025?
Retiring from touring doesn’t necessarily mean retiring from performing. Zach Bryan has at least two major shows lined up for 2025.
The “Revival” singer will headline a show at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium in July. He also has back-to-back weekend shows schedule for June at London’s Hyde Park.
