He’s topped the charts with several singles, and his most recent album, Beautifully Broken, debuted at No. 1 on the country albums chart. He has one multiple awards, toured the world, sold out massive venues, and collaborated with huge artists from Cody Johnson to Eminem. However, he still has plenty of goals.

Recently, Jelly Roll appeared on The Pivot podcast to talk about this life and career. During the conversation, he revealed his dream collaborations outside of the country music world and they include some of pop music’s biggest names–Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift.
Jelly Roll Reveals His Dream Collaborators
When asked about his dream collaborations outside of country music, Jelly Roll mentioned Eminem first. He joined the rap giant on stage last year in Detroit. “That was a big one,” the “Save Me” singer said. Then, he went on to discuss the artists who he wants to work with in the future.
“Miley Cyrus. I just love Miley,” Jelly said. “She don’t do a lot of features, and I know that, so I might not ever get it. But I’m still gonna love her just the same,” he added. Then, he said that Taylor Swift is “obviously” among his dream collaborators. “I know it seems like I’m just naming the two biggest female artists ever,” he admitted. “But, in my defense, they both have Tennessee roots to some degree,” he added.
While Swift wasn’t born in the Volunteer State, she has roots there. “She moved here and went to high school here,” Jelly Roll pointed out. “She bought a playground out in Hendersonville where I used to push my daughter on the swing set when she was a baby,” he explained. Jelly Roll added that Cyrus’ father and his family lived on a farm not far from the property he owns in Franklin, Tennessee.
Jelly Roll went on to add Glorilla, SZA, Moneybagg Yo, and Big X tha Plug to his list of artists he hopes to work with in the future.
