Country Singer Pauses Performance to Spout NSFW Beyoncé Rant: “You Can Tell Her We’re Coming for Her”

In March 2024, Beyoncé made her entrance into country music with the hit album Cowboy Carter. It didn’t take long before the album dominated the charts and airwaves. Coming packed with collaborations with Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Miley Cyrus, Shaboozey, and more, the album received mixed reviews. But when it came to the Grammy Awards, Cowboy Carter walked away with Best Country Album and Album of the Year. Just the latest success for Beyoncé, it seemed that country singer Gavin Adcock didn’t believe the album deserved to be called country music.

During a recent performance, Adcock appeared on the stage holding what seemed to be a liquor bottle. While speaking about Apple Music Country Albums Charts and his success, he quickly turned his attention to Beyoncé. He declared, “You can tell her we’re coming for her f***in’ a**.” That statement surrounded his unreleased album Own Worst Enemy sitting No. 4 on the Apple Music Country Albums Charts. It sat behind Cowboy Carter

Gavin Adcock Receives Major Backlash Over Beyoncé Statement

According to Adcock, Cowboy Carter didn’t deserve to be placed on the charts. “That s**t ain’t country music, and it ain’t never been country music, and it ain’t never gonna be country music.” Finding his way back to playing music, the country singer concluded, “We’re ’bout to play y’all some Southern f**king rock. Y’all hit that s**t, boys.”

With the crowd roaring in approval, Adcock continued his set. But although gaining support at the concert, fans online had a different opinion. And with the country singer not holding back, neither did the comments:

“He’s performing in a backyard for 30 people while she performs for about 50,000 people multiple nights in a row in multiple cities. He’s not coming for anything.”

“He will never be on beyonce’s level.”

“Oh My God, Beyonce must be so scared of this guy. What is his name BTW?”

“Beyonce is selling out stadiums. He is playing southern rock at some bar. Good luck to whoever this man is.”

With Adcock and fans sharing their opinions on Beyoncé and Cowboy Carter, the Grammy winner continued to focus on her Cowboy Carter tour and not getting stuck in the air.
