While continuing to expand her own career, Grant eventually fell in love with Vince Gill, who she married in 2000. Having shared their love for over two decades, Grant remembered meeting her future love for the first time when she was invited to be part of his Christmas TV special. Somewhat nervous, Gill made the rising star feel welcomed. “I just walked into the rehearsal space and Vince came over and put his arm around me and said, ‘Hey, unknit that brow, it’s going to be okay.’ I remember saying, ‘Wow, thank you for saying that.’”
