Only four NFL teams remain locked in the fierce battle for a Super Bowl LIX bid. First, the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Commanders will face off for the NFC Championship at 3 p.m. Eastern Sunday (Jan. 26) on Fox. Afterwards, the Kansas City Chiefs will go head to head with AFC rivals the Buffalo Bills at 6:30 p.m. Eastern for a shot at their third straight title. A retired military officer will get things going at Arrowhead Stadium with the national anthem. Grammy-nominated country duo Big & Rich will take the reins at halftime.

Big & Rich Will Perform A Medley of Their Hits
Country duo Big & Rich scored four straight Top 40 hits off their 2004 studio debut, Horse of a Different Color. Although Big Kenny Alphin and John Rich have also found solo success, they still continue performing their beloved Big & Rich hits, such as “Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)” and “Lost in This Moment.”

Football diehards likely know Big & Rich for the rowdy, rollicking “Comin’ To Your City,” which served as ESPN’s College GameDay theme for 16 years.
A Familiar Face Will Sing the National Anthem
Before Big & Rich can kick off the halftime show, retired U.S. Navy Petty Officer First Class Generald Wilson will perform the national anthem prior to the game. The St. Louis native has been performing at professional sports events for the last 26 years. However, don’t think he doesn’t play favorites. Wilson is partial to the red and gold at GEHA Field.
“To hear over 70,000 people singing together in unison on this song? Like, I get jitters,” Wilson told KSHB. “I’m never nervous, but when I hear it, it’s amazing. I don’t wear in-ears, so I hear everything. Even at the end, you know, where they say, ‘Home of the …. Chiefs!”
KANSAS CITYYYYYYY! 😁 SO HONORED to receive the call off the bench to join you in singing OUR National Anthem during the AFC Championship Game on Sunday, January 26th. Y'all already know how much I love The @Chiefs , so you can imagine how I'm feeling right now. 😁 God is so… pic.twitter.com/FEC2WYntbH

Regarded as one of the country’s “most sought-after national anthem singers,” Wilson even has his own bobblehead that delivers his rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner.”
