Finding success with songs like “Fall In Love” and “Rock and a Hard Place,” Bailey Zimmerman inked a deal with Warner Music Nashville and Elektra Records. Continuing to rise in the industry, the 25-year-old from Louisville, Illinois, has crossed genre lines to collaborate with rapper BigXthaPlug, as well as keeping it country with a recent Luke Combs duet. Earlier this year, the country music newcomer came under fire following a drunken performance at Luke Bryan’s Crash My Playa Festival. Apologizing for letting fans down, Zimmerman has since made some adjustments.

Bailey Zimmerman Is “So Much Happier”
Taking to social media Saturday (June 28), Bailey Zimmerman shared a video of himself sitting in a vehicle as Taylor Swift’s 2008 single “You Belong With Me” plays.
“‘You look so much happier,’” the text overlay reads.
Then he uses the rest of the text to make an announcement. “Yeah tbh I quit drinkin all the time and that has truly changed my whole life,” it reads.
In the caption, Zimmerman wrote, “No judgment towards anybody but I wouldn’t change it for anything… My life has been so much better.”
Fans flooded the comments section with well wishes, many of them sharing their own experiences with sobriety. “Congrats it’s never the wrong move and you’ll never regret it,” wrote Canadian singer-songwriter Dallas Smith, of the hard rock band Default. “8 years strong over here.”
Another Instagram user wrote, “LFG! Im at year five for that very reason.”

Zimmerman Apologized For Crash My Playa Set
On Jan. 18, Bailey Zimmerman played a set in Cancun, Mexico shirtless—and clearly intoxicated. One video posted to TikTok even showed him diving from the stage, prompting one user to declare him “the Vince Neil of country music.”
Later, Zimmerman sought forgiveness on social media. “I was always raised up to hit problems head on, and never to lie, and always be truthful and honest, even when you’re embarrassed,” he said in a video.
Acknowledging the “absolutely awful” performance, he said, “I decided to drink that day, which was a mistake. And I got up on stage, and I was too drunk to play… Nobody got the show they wanted or paid for. I’m disappointed in myself.”
