Yesterday, August 11, Ella Langley took to Instagram to announce the cancellation of the rest of her August shows. In her post, Langley cited that her reasoning behind the decision has to do with “sickness” and “feeling more run down than ever.” Consequently, Langley wrote that she will be taking a break from the road to “focus on [her] health—mind, body, and heart.”

Adding on to her reasoning, Langley shared, “Sometimes we have to listen when our bodies and hearts are telling us to slow down. I’m so grateful for your understanding and your love—it truly means the world to me. ‘Come to me all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.’ Matthew 11:28.”
In the next slide of the post, Langley announced the seven tour dates she’d be missing, the majority of which were alongside Riley Green and Morgan Wallen. She ended that portion of the post by writing, “I’ll be back on the road in September, ready to give you my all.
After the major announcement, Langley made a separate Instagram post pulling back the curtain on the reality of touring.

Shortly after the post announcing the cancellation of her August shows, Ella Langley reposted a post from the licensed therapist and coach, @danielrinaldilmhc, who specializes in helping creative music personalities.
A portion of the post states, “Touring isn’t a vacation. It’s missing birthdays over bad venue WiFi. It’s watching friends get married on FaceTime.” “Tour is waking up in a different city—but still feeling ‘stuck’ while everyone else seems to move on. It’s watching your people build a life…while you’re just trying to stay awake for soundcheck. Yeah, it’s a dream. But it’s also grief, disconnection, and emotional whiplash. This is really hard.”
Per her comments and her website, Ella Langley will be back on the road come September. Particularly, Langley’s tour schedule says she will take the stage on September 7 at the World Wide Technology Raceway in Madison, Illinois.
