The show will kick off with a 12-minute “Songs of the Decades” medley, which spotlights ACM Award-winning Songs of the Year from across six decades. Host Reba McEntire, Clint Black, Dan + Shay, LeAnn Rimes, Wynonna Judd and Sugarland will all take the stage during this performance.

Four of those artists recorded hits that won ACM Awards for Song of the Year, meaning you could hear the following: “Stay” by Sugarland; Dan + Shay’s “Tequila;” “Blue” by Rimes; and the Judds’ “Why Not Me.”

Other artists will also perform their hits throughout the ceremony. While many of these performances are individual, several collaborations are planned. With Jelly Roll and Shaboozey teaming up, their newly-released collab “Amen” is probably on the setlist.

Meanwhile, Rascal Flatts and the Backstreet Boys will share a stage; with Cody Johnson joining Brooks & Dunn.

Brooks & Dunn’s Legacy Honored

Ahead of the 2025 ACM Awards, one highly decorated duo will receive recognition for decades of country music success.

On May 7 at the Omni PGA Frisco in Frisco, Texas, the ACM and ACM Lifting Lives honored Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn’s 35th anniversary as Brooks & Dunn. With 25 trophies, the “Neon Moon” hitmakers hold the record for most ACM Awards won by a duo.

“We came along at a time when rock and country melded together,” Dunn told the Tennessean in a February 2022 interview. “We’re still The Rolling Stones mixed with a little Merle Haggard. Nothing’s changed or slowed down.”
