Jake Owen has dropped his latest record, Loose Cannon. The record delivers 16 summer-steeped songs, produced by Joey Moi, just in time for the changing of the seasons.

“Loose Cannon has been a long time coming and I’m so excited my fans can finally experience it with me,” Owen shared in a statement. “I hope the album makes it into your summertime memories and I can’t wait to see y’all on the road this fall.”
Owen teamed up some of Nashville’s finest songwriters for the record including Ashley Gorley, Brent Cobb, Rodney Clawson, Jessie Jo Dillon, and Luke Laird. He also tapped a number of artist-writers for the project, the likes of Jordan Davis, Devin Dawson, Walker Hayes, Jordan Fletcher, and Hunter Phelps.
“I can’t wait to share this new wave of music with my fans,” Owen shared in a statement prior to the album’s release. “Grab your buddies, put the boat in the water, pour a cold one out, and we’ll catch y’all out on the lake. It’s the best time of year and we’re ready to celebrate.”
Along with the album’s release, Owen has announced a fall tour in support of the record. The Loose Cannon Tour will feature 12 dates throughout September and October. The country singer will hit spots across the country including Cleveland, Detroit, and Las Vegas. Owen has tapped Tyler Booth and trio Daves Highway as support.
“I’m so excited to get back on the road and share all the new music from Loose Cannon with you,” the singer shared in a statement. “This collection of songs was made for the fans and I look forward to seeing everyone party and sing along at each show. Can’t wait to see y’all out there!”
