LiAngelo Ball aka G3 Lands a Rolling Loud Festival Set After Viral Success of “Tweaker”

LiAngelo Ball was a star on the court, now he’s crossing over to the studio. His debut outing “Tweaker” is making waves across social media with several NBA stars rocking out to the track in videos across several platforms. The viral hit had landed Ball—under the name G3—a spot on this year’s Rolling Loud Festival. He’ll share the stage with A$AP Rocky, Sexyy Red, Playboi Carti, Ski Mask the Slump God, and many more this March.

“Tweaker” started going viral before G3 could give it a proper release. Fans first took note of the banger when they saw him playing it for popular streamer Neon last Friday (January 3). It currently has more than 4 million views on the WorldStarHipHop YouTube channel. Additionally, it has stacked more than 2 million streams on Spotify.

G3 isn’t stopping with his debut outing. A video has already surfaced of the Chicago Bulls locker room vibing to an unreleased track. At this rate, he will have plenty of music to fill out his set at Rolling Loud this spring.

Lonzo Ball Didn’t Help G3 Write “Tweaker”

Lonzo Ball, Chicago Bulls guard and G3’s older brother has a co-writing credit on “Tweaker” on streaming platforms. However, he recently stated that he had no part in writing the viral banger. The elder Ball brother took to Twitter yesterday (January 6) to clear things up. “Only credit I deserve is the cover art,” he wrote. “G really that! #YearOfG,” he added.

It does seem that the Ball brothers are working together on G3’s rising rap career. At the very least, the viral star’s older brother has some inside knowledge. He reportedly told TMZ that G3 has more music waiting to be released.

Who Is LiAngelo Ball?
