Morgan Wallen Stirs Up Fan Speculation With Social Media Post
Clocking in at a sprawling 37 tracks, Morgan Wallen’s latest project, I’m the Problem, edges out One Thing at a Time for his longest record yet. The album will feature previously teased tunes such as “Smile” and “Lies Lie Lies.”
One of those 37 tracks is called “What I Want.” On Tuesday (April 8), country music insider Patrick Thomes tagged Wallen in a post asking the country superstar to confirm if the song would feature a guest.
“You haven’t yet sang with any female artists on any of your first three albums, so PLEASE tell me this is the case,” Thomes wrote.
Wallen replied the next day. “Indeed sir,” the “You Proof” singer wrote.

While Wallen has collaborated with many a fellow artist, they’ve all been men up until this point. The “I Had Some Help” crooner’s online admission instantly sent social media into a frenzy.
“Lainey [Wilson?] Ella [Langley?]” one fan guessed.
Another hoped for Kelsea Ballerini. Carly Pearce, Carrie Underwood, and Megan Moroney also surfaced as possibilities.
The Case For A Megan Moroney Collab
Morgan Wallen’s latest admission is further stoking rumors that he and Megan Moroney have something in the works.

The two previously sparked speculation about a potential romantic involvement when Moroney debuted in 2022 with the single “Tennessee Orange.” Wallen is a noted fan of the University of Tennessee Volunteers, whose archrival is the “Am I Okay” singer’s alma mater, the University of Georgia Bulldogs.
Appearing on the Call Her Daddy podcast last summer, Moroney, 27, confirmed that the two did date, but never exclusively. Still, that didn’t stop the CMA’s reigning New Artist of the Year from riffing on Wallen’s contentious Saturday Night Live appearance.

“Get me to God’s country,” the “Girl in the Mirror” singer wrote on TikTok Wednesday (April 9) ahead of upcoming tour dates in Nashville and Knoxville.
Moroney’s Morgan Wallen reference did not go unnoticed. “MANIFESTING A MEGAN FEATURE ON THE NEW ALBUM,” one TikTok user wrote.
