Morgan Wallen Just Dropped Some Exciting News

Four months later, Morgan Wallen has finally (sort of) acknowledged his CMA Entertainer of the Year win. And on the heels of the enormously successful One Night at a Time tour, the “Cowgirls” singer, 31, is focusing on the future. And much to fans’ delight, it looks like they’ll know more about his next musical project sooner rather than later.

“Album Is Officially Done”

Taking to social media Friday (March 14), Morgan Wallen shared a snippet of a mournful new ballad, “Just In Case.” The reception was overwhelmingly positive, with one Instagram user inquiring, “How does one inject this into their veins.”

However, the brand-new music was nearly overshadowed by the exciting news Wallen shared in the caption.

“Album is officially done,” wrote the “Whiskey Glasses” crooner. “More news for y’all next week, but here’s a clip of one that’s coming out soon – ‘Just In Case.’”

“Just In Case” is the latest new material that Wallen has shared with his social media following. The former Voice star announced in January that his fourth studio album, I’m the Problem, will hit the airwaves sometime this year. The album’s title track is out now, and Wallen has previewed two other tracks, “Superman” and “I’m a Little Crazy,” that are also set to appear on the record.

I’m the Problem follows 2023’s One Thing at a Time, which spent 19 non-consecutive weeks atop the Billboard 200. The supporting tour became the highest-grossing country tour of all time.

“Morgan Wallen don’t do nothing but make hits,” one fan wrote on X/Twitter.

Morgan Wallen Reaches Another Career Milestone

As Morgan Wallen gears up to release new music, his previous work is clearly still resonating with listeners. Coming in at No. 9 on March 15, One Thing at a Time has just hit its 100th non-consecutive week in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart.

This marks Wallen’s second album to reach that milestone, as 2021’s Dangerous: The Double Album has spent 158 weeks in that chart’s top 10—the most of any album by a singular artist.

In fact, Wallen is the only solo artist to notch at least 100 weeks in that region, according to Billboard.
