While many artists tend not to think about winning awards when recording a new song, the idea of being showered in accolades is a great motivator. And when it comes to country music, there appeared no greater honor than winning the Entertainer of the Year award from the Country Music Association. Although offering several awards, the Entertainer of the Year was a coveted trophy that proved not only the passion of a singer but their stage presence. But when it came to Morgan Wallen winning the award just a few months ago, the singer remained silent, not sharing his thoughts on the moment. That was until now.

Although months passed since Wallen won the award, he shared a picture of the trophy on Instagram. It wasn’t the only picture posted by the country singer as it sat in a collage of photos that showed a glimpse into the life of Wallen. He captioned the post, “Lil this lil that.” Not offering any more words, that was it.
While not personally acknowledging the win, fans still showered Wallen with praise, commenting, “You deserve every bit of this & that! So proud of you . Keep grinding.” Another comment read, “Looking good!! Congrats on the award! it was very much deserved.
The Trouble That Surrounded Morgan Wallen at rhe Time Of The CMA Awards
Given his silence surrounding the CMA Award, many might be confused about Wallen staying silent. But at the time, the singer found himself in a great deal of trouble with the law. Stopping by Eric Church’s bar in Nashville, a night of fun turned into months of legal work when Wallen threw a chair off the rooftop. Landing near some police officers patrolling the area, the singer ended up pleading guilty to two misdemeanors.
In the end, Wallen walked away with probation and spent time at an alcohol education center. While winning the Entertainer of the Year award was supposed to be a highlight of his career, it appeared Wallen just wanted to put that time behind him when he told fans, “I’m taking a little bit of time for myself, but I’m working also.”
Doing exactly that, Wallen recently announced his new album I’m The Problem while continuing to entertain fans all over the country.
