With the end of the year quickly approaching, the Academy of Country Music looked to celebrate some of the top names in the industry with the 18th ACM Honors ceremony. A moment to honor and recognize those artists who helped propel country music forward while remembering the past, the event will premiere on August 20th with both Carly Pearce and Russell Dickerson hosting. And with it being the Academy of Country Music, it wouldn’t be a celebration without a few hit performances.

Thrilled for the lineup of honorees and performers, the Chair of the ACM Special Awards committee, Kerri Edwards, said, “This year’s ACM Special Awards honorees each have played an essential role in Country Music’s success. From some of Country Music’s legendary artists to the incredible songwriters and powerhouse executives, we are so excited to celebrate these well-deserved recipients next month at The Pinnacle in Nashville. Congratulations to all the honorees.”
While excited for the chance to host the ACM Honors, Pearce explained that the night was more than just another country music event. “This night holds a special place in my heart because it shines a light on the songwriters, musicians, and industry voices who make what we do possible. It’s truly one of my favorite nights of the year. It will be such a full circle moment to co-host with one of my oldest friends in Nashville, Russell Dickerson.”
Adding his voice to the conversation, Dickerson insisted, “This night is all about giving credit to the folks who keep the wheels turning behind the scenes, and I’m proud to be part of it. Getting to team up with Carly and celebrate the industry we love so much is going to be one for the books.”
