Shaboozey Gets Us Tipsy One Last Time in 2024 With His ‘A Bar Song’ Performance at ‘Nashville’s Big Bash’

Despite Nashville’s Big Bash hosting some of the biggest names in country music, Shaboozey was seemingly the most famous performer present. Frankly, it is no surprise, as the 29-year-old country artists has taken over the country music industry by force. Furthermore, he did it with one song and one song only, “A Bar Song.”

For Shaboozey, there was no other way to finish out his 2024. The man has been here, there, and everywhere ever since his No. 1 hit graced the airwaves. Between being nominated for CMAs, Grammys, Billboard, and MTV Music awards, Shaboozey has been a busy man and consequently, has had a rather arduous year. So, why rest now, right?

Well it seems Shaboozey agrees, as the new Prince of Pop country brought his full energy to Nashville’s biggest concert of 2024. Of course, Shaboozey performed the viral sensation “A Bar Song” and sent fans and viewers into a frenzy. Shaboozey has been the premier face of country music in 2024, so it makes sense that he was there to see and celebrate its end.

The Year of Shaboozey

If you don’t live under a rock, you know that Shaboozey is undeniably the hottest name in country music at the moment. And as stated previously, it’s all thanks to his record breaking No. 1 hit. Following its release in April of 2024, the single peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Matter of fact, it didn’t just peak the charts, but it owned them too, as the tune sat at No. 1 for a total of 19 weeks. That is the most weeks for a song released by a solo artist ever.

Given his song’s flourishing success, Shaboozey won Top Country Song of The Year at The Billboard Music Awards just earlier this month. Even though 2024 is coming to a close, his awards run is far from over, as the man is waiting to win at least one of his five Grammy Nominations. Surely Shaboozey will at least walk away with one award, though, time will tell. Win or lose, the man has still been a staple pop culture figure in the year of 2024.
