The blues rocker, who won as part of Niall Horan’s team, shared a photo of himself in a coaches’ chair. The pic was taken in Nashville, Tennessee, when Huntley visited the city to enjoy The Voice-themed milkshake at Black Tap and take in new coach Kelsea Ballerini’s concert at Bridgestone Arena.

While the pic could have just been a fun photo op for the singer, it got fans thinking about the possibility of welcoming Coach Huntley back to The Voice.

“Huntley… I would love to see you as a coach!” one person commented.

Another social media user noted, “You would be amazing [coaching] future generations and future stars!”

“Sitting in the coach chair looks good on you,” a third person praised, with a fourth agreeing, “You look good in that chair. Maybe one day!”

“You’d make a great coach,” another person commented.

Season 27 of The Voice

While Huntley’s participation in future seasons of The Voice remains up in the air, fans have a lot to look forward to when it comes to season 27.

The newest competition kicks off Feb. 3 with returning coach Michael Bublé. John Legend will also be back in the chair after a one season hiatus, and Adam Levine is returning to the role after nearly six years off of the show. Kelsea Ballerini, meanwhile, will make her debut as a coach during season 27.

As for why Levine opted to step back into the chair, the Maroon 5 frontman told E! News, “I just felt like it was time. I had some time to reflect and do my thing and be with my family. I was ready to do it, then the stars aligned and here I am.”

“It’s funny, I actually didn’t miss it while I was gone. But I became more nostalgic about it once I came back,” he added. “I feel like no time has passed, but then it also feels so different in an amazing way. I’m just super happy and pumped. I love these guys so much.”
