Despite becoming one of the biggest movie stars of the last couple of years, actor Timothée Chalamet seems to be maintaining a healthy sense of humor. Who doesn’t love a celebrity that doesn’t take themselves too seriously? Recently, Timothée Chalamet decided to pay homage in a pretty hilarious way to Australian pop star Troye Sivan, whom he impersonated on Saturday Night Live previously.

While at the red carpet premiere of his Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown in Paris, France, a fan gave Chalamet an album of Troye Sivan’s to sign. (The album in question was the vinyl version of Something To Give Each Other from 2023.)
Naturally, Chalamet signed it as Troye Sivan, rather than himself. The whole thing was an obvious reference to when Chalamet was on Saturday Night Live in late 2023. On the show, he portrayed the Australian pop star in a skit along with boygenius.
The clip was shared on social media, and we have to commend the actor’s sense of humor:
Sivan himself caught wind of the interaction and reposted the clip to his Instagram story as well.
The skit that Chalemet was a part of is called “Troye Sivan Sleep Demon”. In the sketch, Chalamet wears Sivan’s signature outfit from the “Get Me Started” video. He describes himself as an “Australian YouTube twink turned indie pop star and model turned HBO actor… being played by an American actor who can’t do an Australian accent.” The segment was a huge hit, and it was obviously quite memorable for fans.
What Else Has Timothée Chalamet Been Up To Lately, Other Than Portraying Troye Sivan on ‘SNL’?
Chalamet has been making waves recently following the release of the Bob Dylan biopic, A Complete Unknown. The film, which has the fortunately enthusiastic stamp of approval from Bob Dylan himself, follows a short period of Dylan’s career in the 1960s. Chalamet performs as Dylan in the film, going as far as to play the guitar and sing as him. So far, reviews of the film have been quite positive, with critics praising Chalamet for his performance.
As of now, Chalamet is working on a number of projects, including the upcoming sports drama Marty Supreme, of which Chalamet is also a producer.
