Watch Wynonna Judd and Tyler Childers Perform “Way of the Triune God” at Under the Big Sky Festival

Closing out the Under the Big Sky Music Festival on Sunday, the three-day event welcomed singers like Oliver Anthony, Luke Grimes, the Red Clay Strays, Mumford & Sons, Shane Smith & the Saints, Tyler Childers, and even Wynonna Judd. While Judd took the stage early on Sunday, she apparently stuck around to watch Childers. And when wanting to cover his song “Way of the Triune God”, Childers decided to call Wynonna to the stage for a special duet.

With thousands in attendance, Childers appeared to be the perfect singer to end the festival. As he entertained the crowd, he found the perfect time to share the spotlight with Judd. Throughout the year, Childers and Judd became good friends as she opened for his concerts. Sharing a great deal of time together, their chemistry seemed to bleed into the audience.

Gaining a great deal of love from the music festival, fans online also offered their take, writing, “They should come out with an album.” Another person insisted, “I need this on a music streaming service.”

Tyler Childers & Wynonna Judd Making The Most Out Of 2025

While fans wanted an album from both singers, Childers did prepare for his newest record, Snipe Hunter, which is scheduled to release on July 25th. And when it came to collaborations, he worked with groups like the Chicks, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Run-DMC, and even Metallica.

As for Judd, she recently shared a collage of pictures on Instagram, showing how she spent the summer, which consisted of good food, family, a few kisses, and a whole lot of love. She captioned the post, “Loading the bus & reflecting on my time off. Lord, thank you for this week at home.”

Looking at her touring schedule, Judd will travel to Rapid City, South Dakota, on July 23rd for a concert at the Monument. Not even 24 hours after that performance, the country star will take over Waukee, Iowa, for another show. While taking some time to spend with family, Judd had concerts scheduled until October.

Staying busy throughout the summer, Judd wasn’t looking to travel the country alone as she would support Little Big Town in states like Ohio, Virginia, Colorado, and more.
