“This show will be full of BPM [beats per minute],” she promised in an interview with People. “So I suggest wearing some sensible shoes and staying hydrated because I think there’s going to be a whole heck of a lot of us just dancing the night away.”

The “loved-filled spectacle” will have no shortage of show-stopping moments. In fact, Perry likened her plans to a “Disneyland-on-wheels type tour.”

“There’s costume changes, there’s acts, there’s dancers, there’s musicians,” she said. “I’ll fly around the room. There’s no bad seat in the house. I’m going to get close to everyone at some point.”

The Katy Perry Songs Fans Will Hear on Tour

As for the music fans can expect to hear, Perry said the concert will be a “celebration of a lot of the songs that people know.” Perry noted that it won’t just be hits. Instead, she plans to “dust off some deep cuts” too.

“I will be introducing people to a few new songs,” she added. “I’m calling it [The] Lifetimes Tour because I’m celebrating the whole lifetime of songs thus far.”

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Perry said that any level of fan is sure to have the experience of a lifetime at the show.

“I always remember the audience is a hybrid of different types of people,” she said “It’s number one fans. And then it’s voyeurs. It’s people that only know me for one song and then people that know ‘Simple.’”

“It’s such a smorgasbord,” Perry added. “I have a responsibility to the audience to give them that singalong, to create that moment, and to bring out some nostalgia.”

The tour will kick off April 23 in Mexico City. The US leg of the tour will start in Houston, Texas, on May 7. Perry will spend the month of June in Australia, before coming back home to the States. US and Canada tour stops will follow, before Perry heads to South America and Europe to wrap up the shows.

Fans can access pre-sale tickets starting on Jan. 28. General admission tickets go on sale Friday, Jan. 31, at 10 a.m. local time.
