Nine-time award winner Billie Eilish took to the stage in her hometown of Los Angeles to perform at the 67th annual GRAMMYs, even as L.A. is in the midst of recovering from devastating wildfires. Eilish performed hits from her recent album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, which is nominated for seven awards.

Eilish performed her hit “Birds of a Feather” on an elaborate stage with her brother Finneas. Her vocals were sweet and airy while the backdrop featured a desert mountain scene, evoking the unique landscape of Los Angeles. She ended her performance by saying “I love you L.A.”
Billie Eilish released Hit Me Hard and Soft last May to a generally positive response. However, some fans were upset when she released the music video for “Birds of a Feather,” claiming the visuals didn’t match the tone of the song. Still, the 10-track album is up for six awards, plus another with Charli XCX: Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album; Best Dance Pop Recording for “L’amour de Ma Vie (Over Now Extended Cut)”; Best Pop Group/Duo Performance for “Guess” with Charli XCX; and Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Pop Solo Performance for “Birds of a Feather.”

Who Could Break Records At the GRAMMYs? Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, and More
Many artists are gearing up to break records at the 67th annual GRAMMY Awards. Of course Taylor Swift is setting out to break some of her own records, while Beyoncé could become the most awarded artist in GRAMMY history with her album Cowboy Carter.
Charli XCX, Post Malone, or Beyoncé could break the record held by Michael Jackson for most awards won in a single night. He won eight in 1984; Charli and Post are each nominated for eight, while Beyoncé only needs to snag eight out of her 11 nominations.
Jack Antonoff is going up against the Beatles, who haven’t been nominated for a GRAMMY since 1997. Either Antonoff or the Beatles could break the record for winning all four major awards overtime: Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best New Artist, and Record of the Year. Both of them only need Record of the Year to make their four-time sweep complete.
Charli XCX and Billie Eilish, meanwhile, are going head-to-head to see who can break Beyoncé’s and Adele’s records of being the most awarded female artist in a single night. Beyoncé and Adele won six awards in 2010 and 2012 respectively. Charli is nominated for eight awards, while Billie is nominated for seven. If either of them sweep their nominations, there’ll be a new record holder in town.
