Last month, Morgan Wallen announced his I’m the Problem Tour featuring Miranda Lambert, Koe Wetzel, Corey Kent, Ella Langley, Brooks & Dunn, and more as supporting acts.

Lambert shared the news on social media and got mixed reactions from her fans. Some were happy to see her embarking on the major stadium tour. Others, though, were unhappy with the outing for one reason or another. Earlier today (February 4), Lambert reacted to disappointed fans in a video she shared on Instagram.
“I’m reading through the comments on the Morgan Wallen tour announcement—my comments on my Instagram,” Lambert explained in the opening moments of the video.
Fans React to Miranda Lambert Touring with Morgan Wallen
Many of Miranda Lambert’s fans were unhappy to see that she was slated to open for Morgan Wallen. Some believed that she made a poor choice due to their distaste for Wallen’s music and antics. Others were shocked to see the award-winning singer/songwriter opening for anyone, let alone Wallen.
“I’ll pass. I was the biggest Miranda fan,” said one commenter. “Girl, you can do better than this,” another commented. “Miranda, you’re just clinging to something popular so you can try to stay relevant,” another added.
“I’m so disappointed in both of you. May God forgive you both,” one commenter said. This got a laugh out of both Lambert and her makeup artist. “We’re really doing bad on this tour, Morgan,” Lambert said after reading the comment.
“I’m so confused why you haven’t been Entertainer of the Year the last few years. I’m further confused about why you’d be opening for anyone. You should be the headliner,” another fan said. “It’s not wrong but it’s not right,” Lambert said in reaction.
One fan was disappointed for a completely different reason. Lambert isn’t booked for any of the Texas dates of the I’m the Problem Tour. “I know, it sucks. I’m not on the Texas shows,” Lambert agreed.
“Thanks, guys, for the support. Appreciate it, guys,” Lambert said, ending the video.
Lambert reacted to the negative comments but plenty of fans are excited to see her share the stage with Wallen in the coming months.
