In January, it was announced that David Lee Roth will be headlining the second day of the 2025 M3 Rock Festival, which takes place May 2-4 in Columbia, Maryland. Now comes word that the former Van Halen frontman has a second concert lined up for this year, scheduled for September 12 at The Mountain Winery in Saratoga, California.

Tickets for the new show go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 28, at 10 a.m. PT. Pre-sale tickets will be available starting Tuesday, March 25, at 10 a.m. PT. Special dining offers and VIP packages also will be sold.

Roth’s September 12 show is part of The Mountain Winery’s expansive 2025 Concert Series. The series kicks off May 15 with a performance by Thievery Corporation and is plotted out through an October 28 gig by Boz Scaggs. Visit MountainWinery.com to check out the full list of performers and dates.
As previously reported, Roth’s set at the M3 Rock Festival will be his first public performance since 2020. Diamond Dave last played live on March 10, 2020, while touring as KISS’ opening act. In the ensuing years, Roth announced that he was planning to retire from performing, but subsequently hinted that he might continue to play shows.

The May 3 bill of the M3 Rock Festival also features Accept, Winger, Slaughter, former Guns N’ Roses drummer Steven Adler, and Red Voodoo. The festival, which showcase hard-rock and heavy metal acts, will be held at Merriweather Post Pavilion.
Ex-Skid Row singer Sebastian Bach will be the May 2 headliner, while former Ratt bandmates Stephen Pearcy and Warren DeMartini will team up to perform their old group’s songs as the main act on May 4.
The May 4 lineup also includes founding KISS guitarist Ace Frehley, Lita Ford, Warrant, Great White, and Vixen.

During the last few years, Roth has been releasing a series of solo tracks via streaming services and his social media pages. These recordings have included updated versions of Van Halen songs and solo tunes he debuted as part of an immersive interactive comic called The Roth Project.
His most recent tune, a melodic mid-tempo rock song called “Alligator Pants,” was released on March 17. According to multiple online posts, the track dates back to 2007 sessions Roth did with guitarist John 5, who now is a member of Mötley Crüe.
Meanwhile, a box set titled The Warner Recordings 1985-1994, featuring Roth’s debut solo EP, Crazy from the Heat, and his first four full-length studio albums, was released on February 21.
The multi-disc collection also features Eat ’Em and Smile (1986), Skyscraper (1988), A Little Ain’t Enough (1991), and Your Filthy Little Mouth (1994).
