Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath’s farewell concert, “Back to the Beginning,” is sold-out, but there’s great news for fans unable to score a ticket or make their way to Villa Park in Birmingham, U.K., on July 5 for the star-packed event. A ticketed global livestream is available for purchase now to view the all-day concert extravaganza.

As previously reported, Osbourne will play his own brief set at the concert before joining Black Sabbath for the first performance by the band’s full original lineup since 2005. The show also will feature performances by Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Slayer, Pantera, Alice in Chains, Lamb of God, Anthrax, Mastodon, Gojira, and Halestorm. In addition, a bevy of special guests will hit the stage to celebrate the legacy of Osbourne and Black Sabbath.
The livestream will begin at 10 a.m. ET, two hours after the actual start of the concert. This will give fans around the world the chance to enjoy the event simultaneously.
Livestream tickets, which are available at BacktotheBeginning.com, are priced at $29.99. Purchasers will be able to watch the concert on demand until July 7 at 10 a.m. ET. A special bundle also is available for $65.99 featuring the livestream and an exclusive “Back to the Beginning” T-shirt. The shirt is black and features a photo of Black Sabbath and the band’s demonic Henry logo on the front and “Made in Birmingham” printed on the back.

In a statement, Ozzy’s wife and manager, Sharon Osbourne, discussed the decision to offer a livestream of the Back to the Beginning concert.
“We had such an overwhelming demand from fans from around the globe, who couldn’t get tickets to the show, and they took to social media, pleading with us to broadcast a livestream of the show,” she said. “Being this is such a historic event, we just couldn’t let them down.”
The livestream is being co-produced by Mercury Studios. Kelly Sweeney, the managing director of the company, added, “Mercury Studios are incredibly proud to be involved in capturing this monumental milestone at Villa Park. ‘Back to the Beginning’ will be an unforgettable experience, and our aim is to deliver this moment to fans worldwide, wherever they are, so they don’t miss out on seeing music history being made.”
About the Other Performers at the Concert
Among the many other performers confirmed for the show are Sammy Hagar, Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello, The Smashing Pumpkins’ Billy Corgan, Disturbed’s David Draiman, Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, ex-Judas Priest guitarist KK Downing, Living Colour’s Vernon Reid, Faith No More drummer Mike Bordin, Zakk Wylde, Rudy Sarzo, and Jake E. Lee.
Morello is serving as the event’s music director.
In a March 2025 interview with Chicago radio station WBEZ, Morello revealed that the concert will feature some special collaborative performances. He confirmed that one of the collaborations will feature him, Corgan, and Tool guitarist Adam Jones playing together.
The concert will be hosted by actor Jason Momoa.
