While wanting to see their favorite band or artists perform, some fans will often forget to take care of themselves during a concert. With the music blaring and the energy ripping through the audience, some fans end up hitting their limit and needing some medical attention. Over the years, artists have become more aware of the audience and making sure that every person has a great time. But again, there are those moments that artists needed to stop a show so a fan could get the medical attention they need. And recently, Brantley Gilbert lashed out at a security guard who stood by while a fan passed out.

The entire ordeal happened when Gilbert took the stage at the Harrah’s Cherokee Casino in North Carolina. Expecting it to be just another show, the singer started to perform “Son of the Dirty South” when he noticed a woman who fainted. Having spent years on the stage, Gilbert wasted no time getting security and medical personnel to the individual. But while the singer quickly addressed the situation, one security guard just stood by, watching the incident take place.

Brantley Gilbert Wanted The Security To Do More Than Just “Stand There”
Also noticing the lack of attention by the security guard, Gilbert decided to speak with the person. But with the mic in his hand, the entire venue heard every word. “Hey dawg, let me explain something to you. I hate to embarrass you, but it don’t do you no good to stand here with a uniform on if you ain’t going to do sh-t. Go on somewhere. Bye.”
With Gilbert not thrilled by the security guard, he turned his attention back to the crowd, making sure the fans were okay and having a great time. But the actions of the security guard stuck with the singer, who once again spoke to the crowd. “Got 10,000 people in security shirts and just gonna f—in’ stand there.”
Fans agreed with Gilbert, writing in the comments, “That’s an awesome guy right there telling it like it is.” Another person added, “My husband and I were there and Brantley was pissed. He truly cares about his fans.”
