Osbourne Family Further Responds to Roger Waters’ Harsh Comments About Ozzy Osbourne: “The Guy Is Sick in the Head”

Following the passing of Ozzy Osbourne on July 22, 2025, former Pink Floyd member Roger Waters shared some choice words surrounding the singer’s life and passing. In August of 2025, the 82-year-old former Pink Floyd member told The Independent Ink UK, “Ozzy Osbourne, who just died, bless him in his whatever state that he was in his whole life, we’ll never know. Although he was all over the TV for hundreds of years, with his idiocy and nonsense. The music, I have no idea. I couldn’t give a f—k.”

“I don’t care about Black Sabbath, I never did. I have no interest in biting the heads of chickens or whatever they do. I couldn’t care less, you know,” added Waters. After those words, Jack Osbourne, Ozzy’s son, responded with, “Hey Roger Waters, f—k you. How pathetic and out of touch you’ve become. The only way you seem to get attention these days is by vomiting out bullshit in the press. My father always thought you were a c*nt – thanks for proving him right.”

That quote from X came on September 2, and on November 12, 2025, the Osbourne family further responded to Waters’ comments on the latest episode of The Osbournes Podcast.

Sharon Osbourne Calls Waters a “Sick Individual” Amongst Other Insults

In the podcast, Sharon Osbourne stated, “[Waters is] probably one of the most sick individuals I’ve come across in years.” Jack then replied, “Oh, you talking about my mate Roger?”, to which Kelly Osbourne added, “He’s a fucking c—t”.

Sharon Osbourne continued, “The guy is sick in the head. He is not relevant in today’s world. Nobody likes him. It’s not just us. Nobody likes this man…unless you’re a fascist. “I don’t know how those guys in Pink Floyd put up with him as long as they did…David [Gilmour] is the most gracious, warm person you could ever meet.” After those comments, Sharon Osbourne defined Waters as a “sad, irrelevant, old, miserable human being—a miserable ugly human being.”

This isn’t the first time Waters has been the recipient of public scrutiny due to his words, as he has been extensively criticized for antisemitic remarks on several occasions.
