‘American Idol’ Finalist Just Checked off “Bucket List” Item After Losing Season Finale

On Sunday, Breanna Nix stood alongside Jamal Roberts and John Foster during the season 23 finale of American Idol. Watching the pool of contestants dwindle each passing week, the moment felt surreal for the Top 3 as one of them would become the next American Idol. And as always, Ryan Seacrest took his time when announcing Roberts as the winner. Placing third in the competition, Nix didn’t see the moment as a loss. Thrilled to expand her career in the music industry, Nix shared the exciting news she would be performing at the Grand Ole Opry.

Breanna Nix Giving All The Glory To God

With Nix ending her time on American Idol just a few days ago, the singer appeared ready to get to work. Going from the competition to the Opry, Nix wasn’t letting the moment slip through her fingers. Although happy for Roberts, she wanted to use her time on the show to help get her footing in the music industry.

Having shared her Christian faith in the past, Nix hoped to use her talents to bring people to the Lord. She once said, “I did not expect to make it through, but I told God if I did, I would put him first and that I would share all the things that I need to share, no matter how hard or humble I have to be because I want to strengthen somebody through my testimony and I want someone to know Jesus through my story and everything my family has been through.”

As for fans, they praised Nix and congratulated her on her recent announcement. “Ohhhh Bree!! I am soooooo excited for you!! Jesus is ordering your steps!! Congratulations this is so well deserved!!” One comment added, “Congrats Breanna!!! One of the biggest dreams of any country musician to play the Opry, and I just know you’ll nail it!!”

Just getting started, Nix is already on the path to leaving her mark in the music industry with her newest song “Higher.”
