Brandi Carlile, Kashus Culpepper, S.G. Goodman, Jim Lauderdale, Kacey Musgraves, and Molly Tuttle helped the Americana Music Association reveal their nominees for the 24th annual Americana Honors & Awards. A diverse mix of both critically acclaimed and fan-favorite artists made the list.

Gillian Welch, David Rawlings, and MJ Lenderman are among the top nominees alongside more mainstream names, including Jason Isbell, Charley Crockett, Sierra Ferrell, Joy Oladokun, and Billy Strings.
The Americana Music Association annually honors the year’s most accomplished members of its music community. There are six member-voted awards, including Artist of the Year and Album of the Year, as well as Lifetime Achievement Awards.
The Americana Honors & Awards are known for crafting breathtaking live moments, even facilitating Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash’s final live performance together. Highlights from past awards shows include John Prine with Bonnie Raitt, Robert Plant & His Band of Joy, Dr. John with Dan Auerbach, Rosanne Cash, Stephen Stills, Joan Baez, and The Blind Boys of Alabama. The performers for the 24th Americana Honors & Awards haven’t been announced.
The marquee event for the Americana Music Association will return to the historic Ryman Auditorium on September 10, 2025. Tickets are $225 -$90 here.
