The Eagles’ Longtime Manager Irving Azoff Organized FireAid

FireAid, a benefit concert to help bring money and awareness to Los Angeles-area relief efforts, is already bringing heavy hitters together for a good cause. AEG Presents and Live Nation—competitors in the ticket sales world—are coming together with the Irving Azoff family to organize the benefit.

Billboard reports that funds raised by FireAid will go to “an organization created to rebuild Los Angeles infrastructure as well as support displaced families and advance fire prevention technologies and strategies.”

FireAid will take place at the Intuit Dome on January 30. At this time, no lineup has been announced. However, a who’s who of the music industry will be on hand when the time comes. The Grammy Awards are slated to take place on February 2. As a result, some of the biggest names in music will be in Los Angeles. This may help this become one of the biggest benefit shows in recent history. The lineup and ticket information will be announced in the coming weeks.

The benefit concert is already being billed as a “night of music and solidarity.” Artists from across the country are expected to perform for the cause, building upon the Eagles’ generous donation.

Among the countless displaced residents who have lost everything are hundreds of music industry professionals including producers, musicians, executives, and more. At the time of writing, the fires in Los Angeles are still uncontrolled.
