Fans of Miley Cyrus are in for a treat this spring. The country-pop icon has just revealed the artwork for her highly-anticipated ninth studio album, Something Beautiful. Along with the artwork, Cyrus announced on Instagram that her upcoming album will be produced by Columbia Records and is set to be released on May 30, 2025.

According to the post, Miley Cyrus’ Something Beautiful will feature 13 original songs. It will be executive produced by Cyrus herself, along with Shawn Everett. You might know Everett from his work on Kacey Musgraves’ famed album Golden Hour.
The photo is quite stunning, and the artwork for the album will be captured by fashion photographer Glen Luchford. Considering the photo reveal shows Cyrus wearing archival Thierry Mugler couture from 1997, high fashion will likely be a core element of the upcoming release.
Miley Cyrus Has Been Mum About the Details Surrounding ‘Something Beautiful’
Miley Cyrus has not released much in the way of details about Something Beautiful. We do know that the album will be a follow-up to her 2023 record Endless Summer Vacation, which features the Grammy Award-winning jam “Flowers”.
Fans don’t seem to be that upset about how tight-lipped Cyrus has been about the upcoming record. Following the release of the album’s artwork, fans have been dishing out a lot of love in her comments in anticipation of Something Beautiful.
“Dropping a new album the day before Pride Month?!” said one fan. “WE ARE READY QUEEN!”
“I am begging for more signed copies to go back in stock,” said another fan.
The album will also feature “bold aesthetic and visual storytelling,” according to the post. Cyrus also revealed back in 2024 that she was inspired by Pink Floyd’s famous concept album The Wall in terms of its “hypnotizing and glamorous” vibe. She went on to say that she hopes that Something Beautiful will, similarly, have “healing sound properties.”
“The songs, whether they’re about destruction or heartbreak or death, they’re presented in a way that is beautiful, because the nastiest times of our life do have a point of beauty,” Cyrus said during her Harper’s Bazaar interview in November.
