Back in September, parts of the United States prepared for Hurricane Helene to touch down. Even with many evacuating and preparing their homes, nothing could prepare for the destruction left behind by the hurricane. Ripping through states like North Carolina and Tennessee, numerous videos surfaced online, showing just how bad the damage was. And while the hurricane eventually fizzled, the states continued to clean up and rebuild. Wanting to help those impacted by the hurricane, Morgan Wallen decided to use his concerts as a giant food drive.

Preparing to head to Charlotte, North Carolina for his final concert on the One Night At A Time tour, the country singer joined forces with the Morgan Wallen Foundation to turn the event into a canned food drive to help victims. This isn’t the first time Wallen decided to helm a food drive as he did the same when he visited Tennessee. The singer even brought comedian Theo Von along with him to help bring some joy to those in need. Together, the food drive filled six semi-trucks.
With the Morgan Wallen Foundation posting information about the food drive on Instagram, fans loved the idea of the country singer using his stardom to help. “Awesome way to go Morgan. God bless you and thank you brother for all you’re doing.” Another person added, “Beautiful heart and soul! And just like that, I love him more.”
Morgan Wallen Donates Staggering Amount To American Red Cross
Outside of gathering food for victims, Wallen also released a limited-edition shirt on his website. All the proceeds from the sale will go to his foundation. And that wasn’t all. Doing more than enough for the victims, Wallen decided to donate a staggering $500,000 to the American Red Cross. Setting the example, the country singer continues to use his platform to help others.
As for the ongoing work in North Carolina, Governor Roy Cooper shared that authorities are still trying to locate around 92 missing people. He insisted during a news conference, “I want to caution that this is not a definitive count, because the task force is continuing its work. The number will continue to fluctuate as more reports come in and others are resolved.”
