Morgan Wallen entered his latest concert alongside a special guest. When Wallen made his way to the stage at Glendale, Arizona’s State Farm Stadium on July 19, he did so with Joe Dirt by his side.

Fan video from the concert shows Wallen walking backstage when he bumps into Joe Dirt, a character made famous by David Spade.
Spade totally embodied the character—complete with a mullet wig and a janitor costume—as he and Wallen made their way into the stadium.
The pair chatted, smiled, and laughed during the lengthy walk.
Later, during Wallen’s performance, he perplexed some people with an odd comment.
“I didn’t know if I was ever going to come back to Arizona after that crowd last night,” Wallen told the crowd during the second of his back-to-back performances in Glendale. “But I think tonight, you guys might change my mind.”
There didn’t seem to be an obvious incident during his first tour stop in the state. Some TikTok commenters claimed that security was a problem on night one, with others alleging that fans threw things on the stage during Wallen’s performance.
Morgan Wallen’s ‘I’m the Problem’
Wallen’s I’m the Problem Tour is in support of his recently released album of the same name. During an April appearance on This Past Weekend with Theo Vaughn, Wallen discussed his want to try something new with I’m the Problem.
“A lot of the things that were successful in the past were like whiskey drinking, all that stuff, and I’ve almost explored every angle of that that’s possible. Last album, I had plenty of trap beats and stuff like that,” he said. “This time, I was like, ‘Hey man, maybe let’s tone that down a little bit.”
Wallen went on to note of his fans, “if I’m tired of it, they’re probably tired of it.”
“You can still get that swagger, you can accomplish certain things without that same thing,” he said. “A lot of my guys that I write with… we had a good sense of what we were shooting for. I had to work harder. Just finding new angles and thinking up new ideas.”
