Riley Green, Zach Top, Warren Zeiders Help Raise Over $670K for Folds of Honor During the Annual Rock ‘N Jock Celebrity Softball Game

On June 2nd, the fifth annual Rock ‘N Jock Celebrity Softball Game kicked off with several celebrities, athletes, and country music stars stepping up to the plate. Sponsored by the Black Rifle Coffee Company, the event featured two teams – Team First Responders and Team Military. Although a friendly competition, the main focus of the event was to raise money for Folds of Honor. And with the charity event bringing out names like Zach Top, Warren Zeiders, Chase Rice, Jordan Davis, and numerous others, the game raised over $670,000.

Taking place at Nashville’s First Horizon Park, around 8,000 people packed the arena to watch the softball game. Looking at the list of stars who helped make the event a reality, it consisted of Jordan Davis, Ashley Cooke, Conner Smith, Charles Esten, Gavin Adcock and Adam Doleac, Riley Green, Tyler Hubbard, Justin Moore, Zach Top, Raelynn, Warren Zeiders, Priscilla Block, and Chase Rice. Again, that was just a sample as athletes like Riley Gaines, Ryan Sheckler, and Michael Chandler also participated.

Having taken part in numerous events surrounding Folds of Honor, Davis admitted he always picked up the phone when the organization called. “Folds of Honor…truly, from when I got in a position where I could help out, Folds of Honor was the first call. They’ve just been amazing to country music and do a amazing things to help so many families. From the first golf tournament I played, you hear the stories and you see the impact they make.”

Zach Top Stumbles Through Interview With Warren Zeiders

For RaeLynn, the game meant more to her given her husband’s military service. “I love Folds of Honor so much. Obviously my husband is a Green Beret, and so I come from a military background, and so to be able to give back in this way is so much fun and I think it’s just a great way to kick off CMA fest.”

Besides enjoying his time on the field, Green did more than swing a bat as he donated $75,000 that was matched by the Black Rifle Coffee Company. That’s a total of $150,000 right there.

Sharing a hilarious moment from the event, Top got the chance to interview Zeiders during the game. Although knowing how an interview worked, the country singer struggled to come up with questions. But in his defense, he was wearing a helmet that came with two beers placed on either side.

Joking about his wardrobe, Top insisted that the helmet was standard gear that came with his softball bundle. Either way, Team First Responders walked away as the winners thanks to stars like Adcock crushing a home run. And no matter the outcome, the real winners were those who received help and support from Folds of Honor.
