Ronnie Dunn really didn’t want to forget the lyrics. On night two of Morgan Wallen’s tour stop in Miami, Florida, he tapped Gavin Adcock and Brooks & Dunn to open the show.

Later, when Wallen took the stage, he welcomed each of the opening acts to perform a song with him.
Adcock and Wallen sang “Up Down,” which the latter singer released in 2017, without incident. Meanwhile, Dunn and Kix Brooks performed Wallen’s 2018 hit, “Whiskey Glasses,” with him.
During Brooks & Dunn’s time on stage with Wallen, fans were shocked to see Dunn looking at a lyrics cheat sheet as he performed.
Neither Brooks nor Dunn sang much during the performance, instead walking around stage, video from the concert appeared to show.
Brooks & Dunn will presumably have several more chances to memorize the lyrics. The duo is set to open for Wallen during his upcoming tour stops in Arizona,Washington, California, and Canada.
Morgan Wallen’s Tour and Album
Wallen’s I’m the Problem Tour is in support of his recently released album of the same name. During an April appearance on This Past Weekend with Theo Vaughn, Wallen discussed his want to try something new with I’m the Problem.
“A lot of the things that were successful in the past were like whiskey drinking, all that stuff, and I’ve almost explored every angle of that that’s possible. Last album, I had plenty of trap beats and stuff like that,” he said. “This time, I was like, ‘Hey man, maybe let’s tone that down a little bit.”
Wallen went on to note of his fans, “if I’m tired of it, they’re probably tired of it.”
“You can still get that swagger, you can accomplish certain things without that same thing,” he said. “A lot of my guys that I write with… we had a good sense of what we were shooting for. I had to work harder. Just finding new angles and thinking up new ideas.”
Later, Wallen told Apple Music’s Zane Lowe how he got the idea for the title of the LP.
“I think there was a little bit of playing into just everything I’ve been through in my life…not like I’m the victim or anything, I’ve caused a lot of it,” he said. “I think that’s my way… of accepting that responsibility and saying, ‘Hey, maybe I am the problem sometimes.’”
