Shaboozey Shouts Out Jelly Roll on Social Media

The deluxe edition of Where I’ve Been Isn’t Where I’m Going dropped last Friday (April 25). To celebrate the big release day, Shaboozey took to social media to praise Jelly Roll.

“Thank you for being the best human one could possibly be, for your guidance, your prayers, your leadership, your humility, and your big mf heart,” he wrote in the post. “You’ve changed so many people’s lives with your story and music. You inspire countless artists to use their talents to uplift people and the communities around them,” he added. “You actually are the best. Miss them tour days. Love you, brother,” he concluded.

Fans are already loving “Amen.” The song hit digital streaming platforms last Thursday. Now, less than a week later, it is sitting at more than 2 million streams on Spotify. The song has a long way to go before it lands in the young artist’s top tracks on the streaming platform, though. His breakout hit, “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” has garnered more than 1.2 billion streams.

Jelly Roll praised his duet partner in a piece for Time Magazine last year. In the piece, he praised Shaboozey for his talent and early success. Then, he revealed something else about the up-and-comer. “What people may not realize about him, however, is what a truly good listener he is,” Jell wrote. “How genuine he is with his words. He will look you right in the eyes and respond with care. It’s that thoughtfulness I am looking forward to having around us all for many years.”
