Special Guest Openers Announced for Def Leppard’s Series of U.S. Summer Tour Dates

Def Leppard has expanded its summer tour itinerary with seven new concerts in the U.S. featuring some special opening acts. The shows will feature Poison frontman Bret Michaels, British glam-rockers The Struts, and veteran U.S. rock band Extreme lending support at select dates at various amphitheaters.

Michaels will open four of the newly announced concerts. Those gigs will take place on June 23 in Rogers, Arkansas; June 25 in Birmingham, Alabama; July 22 in Saratoga Springs, New York; and August 12 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The Struts will join Def Leppard at two shows, on July 1 in Bangor, Maine, and July 20 in Bethel, New York.

Lastly, Extreme will lend support at a concert on August 31 in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Tickets for the new shows will go on sale to the general on Friday, March 21, at 10 a.m. local time. Citi card holders will have the opportunity to access presale tickets starting on Tuesday, March 18, at 10 a.m. local time. VIP packages also will go on sale at the same time on March 18.

Def Leppard’s Other 2025 Tour Plans

According to DefLeppard.com, the band has a total of 24 confirmed concerts for 2025.

Def Leppard’s itinerary kicks off with a May 15 performance in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and is plotted out through the August 31 concert in Virginia Beach.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Famers also have several festival appearances lined up in the U.S. and Canada. Among these are Boardwalk Rock on May 17 in Ocean City, Maryland; Milwaukee’s Summerfest on June 19; Festival d’été de Québec (FEQ) on July 6 in Québec, Canada; Rockin’ Thunder on July 11 in Edmonton, Canada; Country Thunder Saskatchewan on July 13 in Craven, Canada; and the Ottawa Blues Festival on July 16 in Ottawa, Canada.

Def Leppard’s Most Recent Music Release

On January 31, Def Leppard released a cover of Ben E. King’s classic 1962 hit “Stand by Me” as a charity single. Proceeds raised from the track are benefiting the FireAid initiative helping those affected by the devastating wildfires in Southern California.

Def Leppard’s version of “Stand by Me” was featured in the 2025 Netflix film Bank of Dave 2: The Loan Ranger.
