Amid the show’s Battle Round, Ballerini asked the guys if they have advice for the hard choices she’ll have to make.

“Listen and make a decision based on what you saw on the stage,” Legend advised. “You may be tempted to make a decision based on rehearsals, but the thing that matters the most is what they do on that stage.”

Levine agreed, noting, “So much of the time when someone steps up in the battles, you’re like, ‘Woah, what?’”

“But some people are made like that!” Bublé chimed in. “The lights go on and they just turn it on.”

While Ballerini was open about wanting advice for some things, she made it clear she’s already a competitor. When the guys asked if she had contestants in mind for her steal and save, Ballerini gave a diplomatic answer.

“I’ve had my eye on a couple of people that I fought very hard for that I did not get,” she said, “and I’m going to reserve the right to not tell you who those are.”

“She’s gaming!” Levine marveled.

The Voice‘s Battle Round Is Underway

With one week of Battles already complete, The Voice coaches haven’t been shy about hitting their button to steal or save a contestant.

Legend has already used both of his advantages. He opted to steal Team Kelsea’s Tatum Scott following her loss to Angie Rey. Elsewhere, he saved Nell Simmons after she lost her Battle to Olivia Kuper Harris.

Meanwhile, Levine used his save to keep Darius J. on his team after the contestant lost his Battle to Britton Moore.

Those choices left Legend with his hands tied for the rest of the Battles, while Levine only has his steal remaining. However, Ballerini and Bublé still have both advantages at their disposal, which is sure to come in handy as the competition progresses.

The Voice airs Mondays at 8/7 on NBC.
