Having fans all over the world, there were few places to stand as fans pushed against the barricades that lined the streets. While fans mourned the loss of Ozzy, the funeral seemed more like a celebration as local musicians Bostin’ Brass led the procession with covers that included “Crazy Train” and “Iron Man.”
While not every fan could attend the funeral, they made sure to pay their respects in the comment section, writing, “It’s such a sad day, but such a happy day. Ozzy Osbourne deserves the best. Rest in peace, he knows the world is happy with his entertainment, and how much he brought to the stage ,he changed the art of rock ‘n’ roll.”

Sharon Osbourne Shares Her Love With Fans While Mourning Ozzy Osbourne
Although a tough day for heavy metal, nothing compared to the emotions that overcame the Osbourne family. Making their way to a memorial for Ozzy, which was covered in flowers, Sharon Osbourne struggled to walk as she fought back tears. Thankfully, both Jack and Kelly Osbourne were by her side, embracing her.
Even with Sharon breaking down over the death of her husband, she still found time to address the crowd, flashing a peace sign.
Among those in the crowd was Councillor Zafar Iqbal. Discussing the funeral with The Independent, the Lord Mayor insisted, “I think it was a fitting tribute to a legend who was a Brummie through and through. Like his final gig, he came back home and we were proud to have him. I have been here since 7am talking to fans and the emotions were really high, people just loved Ozzy and you could really feel that when you were there.”
Proud of Ozzy, the fans, and Birmingham, Iqbal declared, “I’m proud that we delivered one of the best send-offs I have seen in my time.”
