When it comes to the University of Michigan, nothing means more than football. Throughout recent years, the Michigan Wolverines won the Big Ten Championship three times and won the National Championship in 2023. And among those most notable players was former President Gerald Ford, who played center and linebacker for the Wolverines. Playing in Ann Arbor, the stadium is considered one of the largest stadiums in the U.S. Able to hold over 107,000 people, Zach Bryan recently promoted a concert at the stadium. And while making it the first concert in Ann Arbor, Bryan found himself making history when tickets went on sale.

With tickets for Bryan’s concert going on sale, fans clamored to snag a chance at seeing the country singer perform. Although the concert is scheduled for this fall, the event quickly sold out. And with the stadium able to hold over 100,000 people, Bryan might close in on George Strait, who set the record for North American attendance for a ticketed concert just last year. Strait performed at Texas A&M’s Kyle Field with nearly 111,000 in attendance.
Excited about the news, Bryan shared his thanks to fans on Instagram, posting a poster of the event with the words “Sold Out” plastered on it. He captioned the post, writing, “you guys just sold out the biggest ticketed show in American history. I owe you my life, my humility and every ounce of effort I have. I love y’all more than any song.”
Still coping with the milestone he just crossed, Bryan took a moment to look back on his past, adding, “Well my mama told me there’d be days like this. What a wild and rowdy damn 6 years. God bless the musicians who came before us. the respect is immeasurable. Thank you so much for having us @uofmichigan , we won’t let you down.”
Zach Bryan Goes International In 2025
Promising to give fans a fantastic concert, members of the University of Michigan filled the comment section with excitement. “See you there! As Umich alums, this is a DREAM concert for my husband and I. Pinch me, I’m dreaming!” Other fans criticized the ticket-buying experience. “I’m so sad! I tried to check out five times and it kept telling me I was a bot!!! I was in the que for over an hour.”
While some fans will miss the historic concert, Bryan filled 2025 with several performances in places like New Jersey, California, London, and even Ireland. So, there are more than enough chances to catch Bryan live in concert.
