While serving eight years in the U.S. Navy, Zach Bryan began writing songs in his spare time. He began uploading those videos to YouTube in 2017, finally going viral with the 2019 hit “Heading South.” More than five years after his first-ever public concert, the 28-year-old Oklahoman recently threatened George Strait’s record when he sold out the largest ticketed show in U.S. history. Now, he is once again teasing new music on social media.

Taking to Instagram Thursday (Feb. 27), Zach Bryan shared his latest ode to a woman “with a Spanish tongue and some dark brown eyes.”

In the comments, one fan described the song, presumably titled “Dark Brown Eyes,” as “a nice missing her tune.” Another called for “a Hozier feature” on the ethereal-sounding tune “asap.”
The ever-prolific Bryan has consistently flooded followers’ Instagram feeds with unreleased music as he gears up to drop hisย With Heaven On Topย EP. Just three days ago, the GRAMMY winner teased another tune called “Metal.”
Fulfilling a promise he made, Bryan dropped the long-awaited track “Dear Miss” earlier this month after his Philadelphia Eagles took home the Lombardi Trophy. The standalone song debuted at No. 8 on Billboard’s Rock Digital Song Sales list, coming in at No. 10 on the Hot Rock Songs roster.
New EP Coming Soon?
Understandably, Zach Bryan fans are holding out hope that this torrent of unreleased new material is pointing toward a full-length album release sometime in 2025. But first, the “Revival” hitmaker has confirmed that his latest EP, With Heaven On Top, is coming โsooner than not.”
Earlier this month, Bryan indicated that With Heaven On Top will feature harmonies from New York indie artist Grumpy, along with appearances from violinist Hannah Lynn Cohen and cellist Ana Monwah Lei.
Fans believe his sixth studio album is titled Motorbreath, judging from an introduction, voiced by Matthew McConaughey, to an upcoming film of the same name. Bryan has also hinted at releasing Motorbreath sometime this year.
