1. That Champagne Toast
Swift put on a stunning piano performance of “Champagne Problems” from the 2020 album evermore last night, and the fans were absolutely losing it. In fact, Swift got a pretty hefty standing ovation from the crowd of thousands after wrapping up the iconic ballad.
That standing ovation lasted four whole minutes, complete with stadium-wide stomping and screaming. Even Swift herself was visibly surprised as she sat on stage, absorbing all of that love from her fans.
2. All Of Those Surprise Songs
Swift’s setlist hasn’t been identical from show to show during the Eras Tour. However, there were quite a few surprise songs that made an appearance during her final night in Indianapolis.
Specifically, Swift dished out a few underrated favorites: “Cornelia Street” from Lover, “The Bolter” from The Tortured Poets Department, “Death By A Thousand Cuts” from Lover, and “The Great War” from Midnights.
3. Kam Saunders Stole The Show
Taylor Swift’s last Eras Tour concert in the US was all about her, but one particular dancer definitely stole the show. Kam Saunders even had a line in the performance, too. During Swift’s performance of “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together”, Saunders took to the mic to shout the signature “Scram!” Fans were loving it.
4. The Very Last Bow
Swift has taken on over 140 shows across the globe during the Eras Tour. That adds up to over 450 hours on stage. One would expect this final night in the United States to end with a few tears, but it didn’t. At least not from Swift.
Rather, Swift took a final bow with the same amount of energy and excitement as she did at the end of her very first stop on the tour.
“Indy, I love you so much,” said Swift. “That was the perfect last American show of the Eras tour.”
