On Sept. 26, MGK will step into the country spotlight when he takes the stage at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry House during the People’s Choice Country Awards.
MGK, who’s up for three trophies at Thursday’s Shania Twain-hosted ceremony, close out the show after genre staples including Miranda Lambert, Kane Brown, Keith Urban, and Kelsea Ballerini take the stage.

It’s no surprise that this June performance earned MGK a PCCA nod for The Cover Song of 2024. MGK lent his voice to Zach Bryan’s 2022 song, performing a stripped down version of the track from Cheshire Cottage.
Machine Gun Kelly Covers “There’s Your Trouble” by The Chicks
While performing at Spotify House during CMA Fest, MGK shocked and delighted the crowd by pulling out a cover of The Chicks’ 1998 song, “There’s Your Trouble.” In his version, MGK swapped the banjo and violin for the guitar and drums to fun results.
Machine Gun Kelly and Jelly Role Team Up for “Lonely Road”
One-time foes turned friends and collaborators, MGK and Jelly Roll teamed up to deliver “Lonely Road,” a John Denver-inspired track that took the world by storm.
MGK wrote on Instagram that he and Jelly worked over “2 years, 8 different studios, 4 different countries” to craft the song, before they “finally got it right.” Fans agreed, and the pair earned PCCA nominations for The Crossover Song of 2024 and The Music Video of 2024.

During a free show in Nashville ahead of PCCAs, MGK welcomed Lainey Wilson to the stage. With Jelly Roll not in attendance, Wilson rocked his parts, expertly meshing with MGK as an excited crowd watched on.
