Oasis’ Liam Gallagher Issues 4-Word Verdict on Bring Me the Horizon’s Rocking “Wonderwall” Cover

While Oasis went through some turbulent years as Noel and Liam Gallagher clashed, the band continued to entertain fans all over the world. Looking over the band’s career in the spotlight, Oasis sold over 75 million albums and won several awards thanks to albums like Heathen Chemistry and Dig Out Your Soul. Sadly, Oasis eventually disbanded. But with a new year here, Oasis geared up for a Oasis Live ‘25 Tour. And recently, Liam shared his thoughts on the band’s hit song “Wonderwall” being covered by Bring Me The Horizon.

Released on January 29th, Bring Me the Horizon decided to pay tribute to Oasis when the band offered their version of “Wonderwall.” Although the original version offered an acoustic guitar performance from Noel, the new version included an electric guitar with Oli Sykes performing the lyrics.

With Liam not afraid to share his thoughts on the current shift in music, he appeared to love what Bring Me the Horizon produced. Not going into much detail about his thoughts on the cover, he simply wrote, “I f**king love it.” He did capitalize all of “LOVE.”

Even when fans believed that Liam would be “pissed” over the band covering the classic hit, he responded, “I’m not. It’s absolutely incredible. Made my day. I’m of out on my skateboard. F**k y’all.”

Released as part of the Spotify Singles series, all profits from the song will go to the Teenage Cancer Trust. Hoping to help those struggling with the disease, the website for the Teenage Cancer Trust insisted, “We’re here to give every young person facing cancer the best care and support.”

Liam Gallagher Also Praised The Sex Pistols

Outside of Liam giving Bring Me the Horizon his stamp of approval on “Wonderwall”, the star also celebrated Sex Pistols. Even with Glen Matlock calling Oasis “boring”, Liam praised the band’s work on the album The Great Rock ‘n’ Roll Swindle.

The singer wrote on Twitter, “I remember when I first laid eyes on this record I thought it was the fucking Ouijir board then I heard it and all heaven broke lose.”
