During a press event ahead of Super Bowl LIX, Kelce was asked about Swift’s release plans for the beloved album.
“Do you know when Reputation (Taylor’s Version) is going to come out?” a reporter for Kansas City’s KMBC asked the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.
Kelce, however, didn’t even acknowledge that such a project was in the works.
“I can neither confirm nor deny this,” he said.

Kelce’s silence means fans are still looking for answers about Reputation (Taylor’s Version). Swifties had hoped that the singer would share news about the album at the 67th GRAMMY Awards. However, the ceremony came and went with nothing of the kind.
Travis Kelce Reveals His Favorite Taylor Swift Song and Album
While he stayed mum about Reputation (Taylor’s Version), Kelce was more than happy to discuss Swift’s other music. The athlete, who’s gearing up face off against the Philadelphia Eagles, revealed his favorite album and song by Swift.
“Tortured Poets, of course!” Kelce said of The Tortured Poets Department, Swift’s 2024 release that is widely thought to feature multiple songs about him.
“I might be a little biased,” he coyly admitted.
As for his favorite song, Kelce pointed to “So High School.” The track is perhaps the most obvious song about him on the album. (See the lyric: “You know how to ball, I know Aristotle.”)
In addition to “So High School,” Kelce said the has “a few” tracks “that are bangers.”
While Kelce is clearly a fan of Tortured Poets, the same can’t be said for the Recording Academy. Swift was up for six GRAMMYs at the recent ceremony, but spent the night dancing and cheering on her friends instead of making any acceptance speeches.
During the awards ceremony, Swift partied with her producer pal, Jack Antonoff, and his wife, Margaret Qualley, since Kelce was unable to attend amid Super Bowl preparations.
“I wish I could go support Taylor at the GRAMMYs and watch her win every single award that she’s nominated for,” Kelce said during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show ahead of the ceremony. “Unfortunately, I’ve got to get ready for this big ol’ Super Bowl we got in a week.”
