“Friends, lovers, family, let’s make some noise for Canada’s finest. That’s right. Our baby’s back,” Reynolds said in his prerecorded message, before he found out who exactly that Canadian was.

“Bublé?” the actor questioned. “I thought it was going to be Anne Murray.”

Though Reynolds seemed disappointed that Bublé wasn’t Murray, a Canadian country/pop icon star who found success in the ’70s and ’80s, Bublé was unbothered.

The coach, who won the show last season, proudly entered the room alongside two Mounties. He was carrying a hockey stick and vibing as Celine Dion’s “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now” played.

“Michael is Mr. Theatrics,” Kelsea Ballerini joked, before John Legend explained why he decided to give Bublé’s spectacle a pass.

“Michael’s coming off of a win after one season,” Legend noted. “We’ll allow him to celebrate that a little bit.”

After his showing, Bublé exited the stage and told the cameras, “Am I ready to win the voice again? Yes. I so am.”

Michael Bublé Goes Hard to Woo Contestants on ‘The Voice’

Eager to win for the second straight season, Bublé hasn’t been subtle in his efforts to woo contestants to his team. Bublé performed with Hayden Grove, a singer he previously had social media interactions with.

Later, he used his Coach Replay button to get Ricardo Moreno, who didn’t get any chair turns when he performed  “Put Your Head on My Shoulder.” All of the coaches blamed Bublé’s failure to push his button as the reason they didn’t push their own, convincing Bublé to right the wrong.

“I think Ricardo has really distinct and different voice. I think it is powerful. I think he has the ability to go between genres,” Bublé said. “I’m really glad the Coach Replay Button was there, so I could still bring him home to Team Bublé.”

Additionally, Bublé offered to tattoo Ari Camille’s name on his arm if she picked him. That offer couldn’t sway the artist away from John Legend, though.

The Voice airs Mondays at 8/7c on NBC.
