Just last year, Justin Timberlake returned to the studio to release his latest album with Everything I Thought It Was. Marking his first release in nearly six years, the album featured hit songs like “No Angels.” With fans loving Timberlake’s return, the singer decided to hit the road for his The Forget Tomorrow World Tour. Extending the tour into 2025, Timberlake prepared to take the stage in Ohio for the last stop in the US portion of his tour. But sadly, that performance didn’t happen due to the singer battling the flu.

Although singers are known to fight through sickness to not let their fans down, Timberlake couldn’t find the strength to hit the stage. Saddened over the news, the singer jumped on Instagram to share a post that read, “You guys, I’m heartbroken. I have to cancel the show tonight. I went into soundcheck battling the flu and now it’s gotten the best of me.”

With Timberlake attending the soundcheck and trying his best to make the concert happen, the flu became too much, leading to Timberlake pulling out mere hours before the show. “It kills me to disappoint you and my team who worked so hard to make this show happen. I want to reassure you, you’ll be getting refunds for your tickets. I love you all.”
Justin Timberlake Praises Concert Crew For Their Work
While making sure that each fan got a refund for their ticket, this wasn’t the first concert in Ohio the singer needed to cancel. Just last October, Timberlake announced he had to cancel another concert after suffering from laryngitis and bronchitis.
Although Timberlake couldn’t perform in Ohio, he made sure to thank the entire crew that made his concerts possible. Posting a picture of all the individuals, he wrote, “Only one more show to go… and I wanted to take a minute to shout out this incredible tour family. These are the people who keep this whole thing running.”
Giving just a glimpse as to what happened behind the scenes, Timberlake concluded, “You guys don’t get to see everyone on stage, but without every single person in this picture – none of this would be possible. So much love.”
