Oasis Announces Documentary That Will Chronicle Their 2025 Reunion Tour

If you didn’t manage to score a ticket to Oasis’ highly anticipated reunion tour, you’ll still get a chance to experience the show. In a press release, the band, which is comprised of brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, revealed that a new film will be made in conjunction with their Oasis Live ‘25 tour.

The film will be created and produced by Steven Knight. He is an Oscar-nominated writer, producer, and director best known as the visionary behind Peaky Blinders.

It will be jointly directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace. They previously teamed up for films on LCD Soundsystem and the early 2000s NYC music scene.

The film will be produced by Magna Studios and distributed by Sony Music Vision.

No release date has yet been set, and no further details regarding the content of the film are currently available.

What to Know About the Oasis Reunion Tour

Like the film, details about Oasis’ upcoming reunion tour are scarce. Liam has even slammed reports that claim to know the tour set list or the band’s lineup, as neither of those details have been revealed by the Gallagher brothers.

Of the latter claim, which was made by NME, Liam tweeted, “NME tell me who your source pots are that keep giving you info about OASIS and I’ll give you an exclusive interview about up n coming OASIS tour you can have it all but how much do you want it LG x”

“It’s not the lineup reveal I’m bothered about I’ll reveal that to you in a minute I’m more bothered about the line where it says a source close to the band and tour that really causes me a great deal of concern LG x,” he added.

What fans do know is that the tour will kick off July 4 in Cardiff, Wales.

Between then and November 23, Oasis will perform across Europe, North America, South America, Asia, and Australia. Three U.S. cities made the cut, with the band scheduled to perform in Chicago, Illinois, East Rutherford, New Jersey, and Pasadena, California.

Even with their globe-trotting, many Oasis fans were unable to secure tickets to the show. Liam didn’t want to hear about those complaints, though.

“I don’t make the rules,” the Oasis frontman tweeted in response to a fan’s question about the ticket situation. “We’re trying to do the right thing. It is what it is. I’m the singer. Get [off] my case.”
