Getting a chance to celebrate Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath during the Back to the Beginning concert, Yungblud produced a powerful performance of the hit song “Changes.” Although gaining praise for the cover, it seemed that the singer was suffering from tonsillitis, which ended up causing him to cancel a performance at the LiveHouse in Dundee on Thursday. And with fans excited to see him perform at the Grand Central Hall on Friday, Yungblud shared more bad news as the illness worsened, leading him to cancel once again. But not wanting the good times to stop, the singer offered fans a special gift.

Back in June, Yungblud released his fourth studio album with Idols. Hitting the road to support the album, the singer found himself battling tonsillitis. Upset over having to cancel his recent performances, he shared on his Instagram Stories, “My f**king tonsilitis still hasn’t cleared up so I’m getting steroid treatment. I have plans to get the f**kers out as they’re a weak point for me but I need to find some time as obviously we’ve been non stop.”
Although struggling with his voice, Yungblud wanted to push through until speaking with doctors. “I’m ready to rock but my body is letting me down this week, I hate being in bed it terrifies me.” He continued, “The doctor has asked me to postpone Liverpool even though I can still sing. Please understand I hate letting you down. I wanna say f**k it and just do it but they said I could really do damage to my voice.”

Yungblud Offered A Free Drink To Those Who Purchased A Ticket
Promising that he would make the shows up during his arena tour next year, Yungblud revealed in another post, “To make it up to you I’ve put some money behind the bar.” For fans who purchased a ticket, they could show that ticket to the staff at the Metrocola Bar and receive a free drink.

Once again apologizing for missing the performances, Yungblud concluded, “I’m so sad I can’t be there but at least you can be together and celebrate each other, as that’s what Yungblud is all about. Go to the bar, play the tunes and have a good time. I love you. Again, I’m truly sorry.”
