Over the years, Aerosmith has put out some of the most recognizable and indelible songs in American rock music. The band has also put out some of the most memorable music videos (hello, Alicia Silverstone!). Here, we celebrate the flamboyant, flaunting group with a list of their Top 10 jams.
At first, I thought maybe this was just related to videos the band has put out, but since “Dream On” doesn’t have a video, I realized that isn’t the case. So my response is, “Really? This is AS top 10 Aerosmith songs?” At the risk of being too critical, this list whomps! I will admit that I’m not a big fan of the band’s later stuff, but this only lists 2 actual older releases, seeing that “Walk this Way” is the Run-DMC version. “Janie’s Got a Gun” is one of my favorites, but the entire first album is better than most of this list.
