First stepping into the spotlight during the 1980s, Casey Chaos embraced genres like hardcore punk and death rock. And eventually, he formed the band Amen. The band released their first studio album back in 1994 with Slave. Throughout the following decades, the band released three more studio albums with Amen’s last hitting shelves in 2004 with Death Before Musick. Although still recording music, Chaos sadly passed away only a few days before Christmas at 59 years old. While fellow singers and fans took a moment to remember the star, recent reports revealed his cause of death.

With fans of Amen still mourning the death of Chaos, director Dean Karr revealed how the singer passed away in an obituary. The obituary discussed how Chaos was excited for the holidays and waited for his mother to arrive. He even sent a limousine to the airport to pick her up. Thrilled about the royal treatment, Chaos’s mother eventually made it to the singer’s house but nobody came to the door. Although odd, she let herself in with the spare key.
Sadly, the singer’s mother found him on the floor unresponsive. According to Karr, “Upon opening the door, she discovered Casey sitting on the floor with his back against the sofa and head tilted back. He had suffered a massive heart attack. Casey had been dealing with heart issues, poor circulation, and high blood pressure for the last few years.”

Amen Finished Last Album Before Casey Chaos Passed Away
Writing about Chaos and his impact on the music industry, Karr added, “Regardless, we lost a great man/musician/friend/son. Casey proved to the industry to always be yourself – NO rules applied to this rock icon! Casey Chaos had also played bass in Christian Death with Rozz Williams and Rikk Agnew. Other bands include Disorderly Conduct and Scum.”
Taking a moment to honor the legacy of Chaos, Karr revealed that Amen finished their final album shortly before the singer passed. With new music on the way, it marked the final contribution from Chaos. The album also featured a few surprises as Karr explained, “Power hitters Dave Lombardo, Roy Mayorga, and Shannon Larkin have laid down drum tracks to be included in an upcoming new Amen album being finished in London by John King and Oliver Kenny!”
